Within the flexographic printing industry, foam mounting tapes have long been categorized into two primary thickness standards:

380 μm (15 mil) – Narrow-web tape, ideally suited for self-adhesive labels, personal care/hygiene labels, small-brand tags, and other narrow-web label applications;

500 μm (20 mil) – Wide-web tape, engineered for food packaging films, color-printed laminates, rolled films, and other wide-web flexible packaging applications.

Customers can select the appropriate thickness based on their specific press repeat length, required screen/fine-dot resolution, and solid-area coverage demands.
